I've been so inspired by my gardens this summer. The swaths of daffodils and tulips, the blowsy peonies, the roses and daylilies provided constant encouragement and enthusiasm to attempt to capture their very nature on my canvases. Even the incessant rain of July was an inspiration because the luminous quality of the light seemed to magnify the colors of the flowers.
